Buyer said the price feels high relative to what their team would use.
“this feels expensive for what we'd get”
Say this
Most teams feel that before mapping it to numbers. One extra deal closed per quarter typically covers the whole year.
Then ask
Is price the main concern, or proving ROI before committing?
What it isn't
Not another meeting tool
Most tools optimize for what happened yesterday. SideClue is for what is happening right now.
Typical tools
Built for after the call
- Bot joins the meeting as a participant
- Records and uploads to the cloud
- Delivers a summary when it's over
- Another tab to manage mid-conversation
SideClue
Built for the moment you're in
- Runs locally — nothing joins the call
- Listens to both sides on your desktop
- Surfaces coaching while you're still talking
- Glance, respond, back to the conversation
How it works
Three steps. No setup theater.
Start before the call
Set a brief in 30 seconds: who you're talking to, what you want out of the conversation.

During the call
Present while you talk, gone when you're done
SideClue stays on your desktop as a transparent layer — never in the meeting room.

FAQ
Questions
Does SideClue join the meeting as a bot?
No. SideClue is a local desktop app installed on your machine. It captures audio from your microphone and system output directly. It does not join meeting rooms, appear to other participants, or send a bot link. No integration or invitation is required.
What does SideClue do with audio?
Audio is processed in real time by Deepgram's transcription service and analyzed locally for context. Nothing is stored after the session ends. There is no cloud recording, no replay, and no archive. When you stop the session, the audio is gone.
Who is SideClue for?
Revenue and customer-facing professionals who run live calls: sales, customer success, recruiters, and account managers. SideClue is for anyone where the right words at the right moment matter and who cannot afford to look away from the conversation.
Does it work with Zoom, Teams, or Google Meet?
Yes. SideClue works with any meeting platform (Zoom, Teams, Meet, Webex, or any other tool) because it captures audio at the OS level, not inside the meeting app. No plugin, extension, or bot account is required.
What operating systems does SideClue support?
macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel) and Windows 64-bit. Windows is available during private beta via email invitation. The app runs as a frameless overlay that stays on top of your meeting window.
How is SideClue different from Gong or Chorus?
Gong and Chorus analyze calls after they end. SideClue works during the conversation: it listens in real time and surfaces coaching cards while you are still on the call. SideClue does not join as a bot, does not record to the cloud, and does not require IT integration.
Is SideClue free?
Yes. SideClue is free during early access. Request access on the homepage waitlist. Approved users receive a private download link by email for Windows.
Does SideClue store my conversations?
No cloud recording or long-term storage of your audio. Transcripts are processed in real time for coaching during the session. Session history saved locally on your machine is optional and stays on your device.
How does SideClue know what to say during a call?
SideClue transcribes both sides of the conversation, reads the full context, and classifies what just happened (objection, buying signal, discovery gap, and more). It then surfaces a coaching card with what to say next and a follow-up question, anchored to the most recent thing said.
